Boxer Rescue is a not-for-profit (501(c)3), all volunteer organization based in St. Louis, MO. We do not have a shelter or kennel, rather we take dogs into foster homes for their care. Our mission is to help as many Boxers as we can in our area to find the very best homes.

All of our Boxers have received the following minimal medical care from a licensed Vet prior to adoption:

* Complete overall health exam
* All vaccinations including DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies
* Heartworm/Lyme/Ehrlichia test
* Fecal test and dewormer
* Heartworm preventative
* Flea and tick prevention when needed
* Micro chip
* Spay or Neuter

Very often Boxers coming into rescue need additional medical care and we provide that as well. On the occasion that we are aware of ongoing medical issues, we make it our policy to disclose this information to any potential adopters.

Our adoption fees are typically $250.00 for dogs 7 months and older and $350.00 for puppies under 7 months old unless otherwise listed. St. Louis Boxer Rescue adopts our Boxers out to the St. Louis, MO and immediate surrounding areas within 50 miles ONLY. We do not place our rescued Boxers in apartments or in homes without a securely fenced yard and we very rarely ever place our rescued Boxers in a home with unaltered animals.

Boxers in our program can be met at our public Meet & Greets only unless you have submitted an application with us and have been approved.
