Bruce
In loving memory of Bruce who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on 21 June 2011

Bruce, you were a wonderful part of our lives and, when I wasn’t riding and showing any more, I gave you the best life that I thought a horse could want: Acres of pasture, a herd of horses to hang with, plenty of grain, hay and water, that pesky veterinary and hoof trimming care, and lots of love. You are missed but are running free.

With love, Bobbie, Marty, Cocoa and Pepper

Elsa
In loving memory of Elsa who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on 28 May 2011

Elsa, your loss is still too great for me. God blessed us the day you entered our lives.

With all our hearts and souls, Bobbie, Marty, Cocoa and Pepper

Kya
In loving memory of Kya who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on 14 April 2011

Kya, you were a wonderful addition to our family and it was our honor and pleasure to take care of you. It wasn’t fair that someone had allow the eye tumors to grow as they did and then the diagnosis of lymphoma was not fair as you had so much living in you and you, indeed, lived beyond everyone’s expectation. You were special and added so much to our lives each and every day you were with us. Selfishly, I was glad that you got to stay with us so that we could share your life. You are missed.

With much love, Bobbie, Marty, Elsa, Cocoa and Pepper

Gramps
In loving memory of Gramps who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on 2 August 2010

Gramps, you may have been abandoned and forgotten by others in your life but not so with St. Louis Boxer Rescue. It was with much heartfelt love and compassion that you were pulled from the shelter where others had left you to lay in the blistering heat and die alone. With St. Louis Boxer Rescue, you were loved and nurtured with the best of veterinary care to keep you comfortable, given the softest places to sleep, lifted up on the couch whenever you wanted on it, offered the healthiest, yet tastiest foods to entice your desire to eat, and had your own harem of three Boxer girls . . . though you did manage to terrorize them here and there. . . . yes, you must have been a scrapper in your day whether it was through personality or necessity to survive. Even though your daily care demanded much attention and energy, it was the best nine weeks I had to offer and I would gladly choose to do it again. You are missed. Even in death, you are not abandoned or forgotten as your ashes will be brought home to rest forever with those who loved you.

~Love, Bobbie, Marty and the girls, Elsa, Cocoa and Pepper~

Gretta
In loving memory of Gretta who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on 23 August 2009

Today was a sad day at St. Louis Boxer Rescue when we lost Gretta, one of our foster dogs to a seizure disorder. Gretta was a beautiful, sweet girl who enjoyed playing with her dog buddies and getting lots of love and attention from the people in her life. We know that Gretta had not had the best life, especially during her time in a puppy mill, but we do know that during her time with us she enjoyed life, was well cared for, was shown lots of respect and was given LOTS of love.

Rest easy, sweet girl and know that we will all be looking for you at the Bridge!

~Love and kisses from Alicia, Bryan, Louisa, Kevin and all your other friends at STL Boxer Rescue~
